The guys at Autosomnia are the best. As a woman I always worry about getting work done on my car because I feel like I’m going to be taken advantage of. At Autosomnia it was the complete opposite. Dave educated me on all the possible sound systems and gave me his recommendations based on my budget. My daughter loves her first car, but she loves her new stereo system even more. Thanks Autosomnia! I highly recommend them. They are the REAL deal.

I had a very bad experience with Autosomnia Speed & Sound and David Holmes. I purchased a 1997 Ford Econoline 350 XL for $3,500 and also paid an additional $500 in advance toward an invoice/pre-inspection. The vehicle was kept from March 30 and was promised to be ready by April 6, but it was not ready until April 10. Despite paying in advance, the pre-inspection I paid for was not properly done, or at the very least, it did not catch obvious safety and mechanical issues. When I finally received the vehicle, it had serious problems: no rearview mirror, non-functioning headlights, non-functioning turn signals, an airbag warning light, side/rear doors that did not open properly, a rough/sticking gear shifter, mold on the seat belts, an unclean interior, and a poorly secured plexiglass repair where the window was broken. The engine also rattled and had a burning smell at highway speeds. In my opinion, I was sold a lemon. The vehicle was delayed, unsafe, and not in the condition I was led to expect. You want to pay top dollar for SHITTY WORK GO TO DAVID HOLMES OF AUTOSOMNIA his patch/paint jobs failed. He did unsafe electrical work for a CarPlay install. Could’ve caused fire. I paid him 800$ to get my ac fixed it blows hot air. He installed a bad catalytic converter that didnt pass inspection. His weld work is horrible. Left holes in my exhaust causing fumes to be in the car. Says he inspected the vehicle and it was fine. I took to someone else to check on his work and they pointed out many issues he did not address. After I send him a message to try and get a refund for the ac he sends me this message. I was good to this guy brought him clients and he did me wrong. Why would I bring the car back to address issues when they could’ve been addressed the first. Many mechanics out there charging better prices and giving efficient work. He’s not one of them. I can’t say enough good things about this Shop and Dave himself. This guy is the real deal not only did he fix a mess from another mechanic that I went to for an audio system. Everything came out perfect neat and clean. I was fully satisfied with his work, this is a photo of the work he did awesome awesome job. I wish I had photos of what it looked like before hand to show y’all but believe me when I tell you, this guy is the real deal man. Thanks, Dave.
